John A. “Johnny” Hale

John A. “Johnny” Hale passed away Oct. 30, 2017, at the age of 70. He was born Aug. 5, 1947, to the late Robert and Edith Hale.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. John MacLaren officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his son, John Brian Hale; daughter, Cindi (Glenn) Klein; grandson, John Braxton Hale; sister, Jean Hale (Tom) Rimmer; niece, Debbie (Bobby) Brown; nephew, Ricky (Karlene) Boozer; and numerous other family and friends, as well as his faithful sidekick, “Chewy.”

Pallbearers will be John Brian Hale, Rodney Duncan, Jason Duncan, Eddie Bryant, Ricky Boozer, Derrick Washington and Bryan Browning. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Rimmer, Bernard Redd and Mike Simpkins.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Southern Care Hospice, the staff of Lighthouse Nursing Home and the Vaughan Regional Medical Center, for all the care and support they have provided during this time.
