Jerald D. Jackson, 76, of Orrville, passed away on Oct. 20, 2017.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Orrville Town Cemetery. Brother John MacLaren of Orrville Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at Lawrence Brown Funeral Home.

Jerald Dempsy Jackson was born in Sprott, on Oct. 11, 1941. Jerald was married to Judy F. Thompson on Feb. 28, 1964; and they were married 53 years.

Jerald is survived by his devoted wife, Judy F. Jackson, son, Jerald David Jackson; and daughters, Tina (Randy) Pemberton, Carol (James) Wells and Cheryl (Greg) Kish; brothers, Wayne (Judy) Jackson, Ambus (Debbie) Jackson, Larry Jackson; sister, Catherine (Charlie) Hubbard; grandchildren, Amy (Brent) Seton, Aaron Pemberton, Austin (Shawntae) Pemberton, Emily (Paul) Waters, Allan Kish, Ashleigh Simmons, Grace Kish, Ameila Wells, Andrew Wells, John David Wells and Lydia Jane Wells; great-grandchildren, Eli Parker, Avery Waters and Charlotte Waters; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Jerald is preceded in death by his parents, Mozell and Willie Esther Jackson; sister, Jane Fancher; and brother-in-law, Sam Fancher.

Pallbearers will be David Jackson, James Jackson, Jared Jackson, Greg Kish, Allan Kish and Joey Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Bracknell, James Wells and Randy Pemberton.
