Elizabeth Jane Browning Arban passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at the age of 79. She was born Dec. 5, 1937, to the late William Edwin Browning and Olive Estelle Anderson.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and friend. Upon her father’s retirement, she became the owner of Browning Pest Control, which she successfully ran for a number of years. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Arban was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Joseph Arban Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Phillip) Wiedmeyer and Pam (Jimmy) Boswell; grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Wiedmeyer, Nace Jennings Boswell, Brian Phillip Wiedmeyer and Lauren (Elliot) Wiedmeyer Walls; great-grandchildren, Ethan Walls and Cora Walls.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Chapel services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Lee Tate and the Rev. Ira Blanchard officiating. Internment will take place at New Live Oak Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Wiedmeyer, Darrell Steward, Larry Hughen, Troy Melton, Steve Mills, Lain Hartzog and Jerry Holmes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Etheridge, Sol Tepper, Johnny Jones, Buddy Harden, Glenn Sexton, Lee Holliday, Stewart Burkhalter, John Teague and Glenn “Boots” Wilson.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
