Mary Charles Nabors Cook, 86, of Selma, died Sept. 15, 2017.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. “Cuz” Cook; parents, George E. and

Minnie Lou Nabors; and a granddaughter, Amie Dyan Hudson.

She is survived by her children, Juanita (Pete) Brown, Lloyd E. “Butch” (MarJean) Cook II, and

Sheila C. (Scooter) Haugen; grandchildren, Christie B. (Mike) Duran, Drake (Andrea) Hudson and Tajana S. Mesic; and great-grandchildren, Ben and Charlie Duran, Presley and Cooper Hudson.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at New Live Oak

Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Tate and Dr. Jerry Light officiating.

Active Pallbearers will be Drake L. Hudson, Pete Brown, Scooter Haugen, Mike Duran, Wallace “Bubba” Kelley Jr. and Mark T. Kelley.

Mrs. Cook was a longtime member of The Friendship Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church.
