Alabama Secretary of State is reminding Alabamians that the last day to register to vote is Monday, Sept. 11, 2017.

Voters intending to participate in the Sept. 26 run-off election are able to register to vote online until 11:59 p.m. at alabamavotes.gov or if registering in person at your local county courthouse, forms must be submitted by close of business Monday.

The two candidates on the ballot for the election are as follows:

Roy S. Moore

Luther Strange

The vote on Sept. 26 establishes the candidate that will be the nominee for the Republican Party in the Dec. 12, 2017, Senate Special Election.

Doug Jones is the Democratic Party’s nominee.
