Ruth Gordon Hollman, 69, of Selma, passed away Aug. 24, 2017, at her home.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at noon at Shiloh Baptist Church with minister Michael Gordon and minister Coley Chestnut officiating. Burial will follow in Brown’s Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Earnestine Gordon.

She is survived by her spouse, Walter Hollman Jr.; son, Michael Gordon; three daughters, Sharon Hunter, Bernestine Gordon and Sharon Irby; four brothers, William Gordon, Isiah Gordon, Willie Gordon, of Baton Rouge, and James Gordon of Selma; four sisters, Fannie Brown of Peachtree City, Georgia; Mattie Fletcher, Hattie West and Amy Maul of Selma; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
