Mrs. Ethel Vaughn Pegrom, 60, of Selma, passed away Aug. 22, 2017, at UAB Hospital.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Potter’s Place Church with the Rev. James Spicer and minister Davon Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by four sons, Nikki Vaughn, Joseph Vaughn, Christopher Shannon and Joseph Cox; two daughters, Shauna Vaughn and Marquita Varner; two brothers, Willie Vaughn Jr. and Noah (Leola) Vaughn; four sisters, Mary Minniefield, Estella Towns, Lisa Smith and Tessie (James) Thomas; four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and two dear friends, Gloria Sturdivant and Eddie Thomas.
