Melba Joy Sellers, age 58, of Selma, passed away Aug. 23, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Sellers Jr.

Surviving are her parents, Charles and Carolyn Pitts; daughter, Alisha (Andy) Burge; brothers, Billy (Angie) Pitts and Doug Pitts; sisters, Debbie Miley and Phyllis Parten; grandchildren, Addison Burge and Connor Burge; special friend, Teresa Knick; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Selma Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Bro. James Bozeman officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10 a.m. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Family members will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Summerfield Baptist Church.
