Mr. Timothy “Hop” Carter, 55, of Selma, passed away Aug. 11, 2017, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Selma with the Rev. Earnest Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Carter; step-daughter, Jaleesa Webb; brothers, William (Patricia) Carter, David (Karen) Carter, Richard (Sonya) Carter, Derrick (Marcia) Carter; sisters, Jacqueline Carter-Lawrence and Sheena (Antonio) Simmons; three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Theresa Newberry and Donna Pittman; and special cousin, Debra Ann.
