God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you, and whispered, “Come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes The best.

Jessie William Englett Jr., age 90, of Orrville, died July 25, 2017, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his son; baby boy – Richard Horace; parents, Jesse William Englett Sr. and Jennie Bolen Englett; brother, Obie Julian Englett; and sisters, Gladys, Velma, Clarice and Edith.

Jessie is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mildred Frisbie Englett; son, Michael R. (Cathy) Englett; granddaughter, Michelle (Kevin) Stanley; great-grandchildren, Grace Cathryn Stanley and Tate Daniel Stanley; nephews, Billy Englett and Johnny Hale; nieces, Virginia Hamlin, Judy Gaddy, Peggy Chance, Bobbie Parker, Jeanette and Jean Rimmer.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 28, 2017, at 2 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
