Mr. Willie Mitchell, 51, of Selma, passed away July 10, 2017, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Services are scheduled for July 19, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Plain Truth Holiness Church with pastor Allen Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Grimes Mitchell; son, Willie Lee Hurry; two brothers, Bobby Lee Mitchell and Ernest Mitchell; five sisters, Mary Burgess, Penny Mitchell, Earnestine Shell, Patricia Mitchell and Gertrude Mitchell; one grandchild; nine nieces; and 12 nephews.
