Clyde Houston Hopkins Sr. passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the age of 78.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Fay Hopkins; parents, Joseph David and Madolene Stone Hopkins; and brother, David Hopkins.

He is survived by his children, Clyde Houston Hopkins Jr. (Gina), Tammie Frost (Scott), Cammie Woodruff (Mark); sister, Geraldine Dixon (Doyle); sister-in-law, Shirley Hopkins; grandchildren, Riley Hopkins, Sawyer Hopkins, Lucy Hopkins, Anna Fay Frost, Logan Frost, Amelia Frost, Julia Woodruff, Suzy Woodruff and Lori Woodruff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 9, 2017, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Ken Blake officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

His family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
