Mary E. Smith, 69, of Selma, passed away June 20, 2017, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Ellwood Christian Academy with the Rev. Rodney Hardy officiating.

Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by five sons, George Smith Jr. III, Gregory Smith, Anthony Smith, Terry Smith and Andre Smith; four daughters, Linda Marshall, Mary L. Smith, Sheryl Smith and Melody Smith; two brothers, Willie Marshall Jr. and O.T. Marshall; three sisters, Barbara Grimes, Juanita Marshall and Brenda Marshall; 40 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
