Thomas Lester Brown passed away June 19, 2017, at the age of 95. He was born Oct. 25, 1921, to Fredrick Cecil Brown and Myra Elena Brown. He was preceded by his wife, Minter Ray Brown.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. James Bozeman officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown is survived by his sisters, Mildred Brown Scott of Meridian, Mississippi, and Julia Alma Brown Combs of Pennington; sons, Thomas Ray Brown (Charmion) and Cecil Lester “Buddy” Brown (Penny); daughter, Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Osborn (Billy); four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Brown, Sam Brown, Brayton Brown, Billy Osborn, Burt Osborn and Buddy Brown.
