Mattie Hunter, a former resident of Sardis, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. from Shiloh School in Sardis with the Rev. Al Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Hunter Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
