Rudy Lempicki, age 87, of Selma, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2017.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery Wednesday May 31, 2017,  with the Rev. Lee Tate and Dr. Cecil Williamson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 1–1:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lempicki is preceded by his wife: Ellen Joyce Lempicki. He is survived by his children, Dr. Todd Lempicki (Kim) and Mary-Beth Middlebrooks (Jimmy); grandchildren, Ben, Elizabeth, Trey and Louis; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Perkins, Mark Fraiser, Kenny Byrd, Dr. Ray Delp, the Rev. Lee Tate and Dr. W.C. Deavor. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Caldwell DeBardeleben.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church.
