Mr. Joe Pettway, 62, of Dallas County, passed away May 15, 2017, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for May 27, 2017, at noon at Union Grove Baptist Church in Camden with the Rev. Shawn Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by one daughter, Shemika Mendenhall; two brothers, Mack Pettway and John Henry Pettway; two sisters, Eliza Pettway and Ella Bell Thomas; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
