Mr. Cleophus Shelton Sr., 70, of Selma, passed away May 21, 2017, in Selma.

Services are scheduled for May 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Church (Barker) with the Rev. Robert Childers Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Shelton Alexander Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie Shelton; son, Cleophus Shelton Jr.; three daughters, LaWanda Ann Shelton, Cheryl Lynn Shelton and Kimberly R. Shelton; four brothers, Edward Shelton, Sammy Shelton, Jimmy Shelton and Gerald Shelton; two sisters, Willie Lee Kendrick and Mary Shelton; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
