Bob J. Canada passed away May 19, 2017, at the age of 88. He was born May 23, 1928, to the late John and Belua Canada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Taylor Canada, John Canada, Jay Canada; sisters, Minnie Lee and Virginia Mae; and son and daughter-in-law, Carl Ritchey and Linda Canada.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joyce Canada; son, Larry (Cindy) Canada; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Duncan Canada.

The memorial service will be Monday, May 22 at 11 a.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Cory Horton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Elkdale Baptist Church.
