JoAnn Alexander, 58, of Detroit, passed away April 25, 2017, in Detroit.

Services are scheduled for May 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Apostolic Church with Bishop Joe Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Shelton/Alexander Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by four sons, Shawn Palmer, Robert Palmer Jr., Dexter Lamar Pope and Todd Jamal Alexander; daughter, Jasmine Charnell Alexander; five brothers; four sisters; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
