Mr. Christopher D. Cooper, 31, of Selma, passed away April 17, 2017, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Services are scheduled for April 29, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Ellwood Christian Church with the Rev. D.B. Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Zion M.P. Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Andrews. He is survived by his wife, Courtney Cooper; mother, Mrs. Lucy Bates; two sons, Christopher Cooper Jr. and Christian Cooper; daughter, Krishonda Cooper; three brothers, Andre Cooper, Charles Cooper and Cedric Givian.
