Meadowview 9, Cahawba Christian 2 (Baseball)

Meadowview Christiaan (9-3) clinched a playoff spot with a 9-2 win over Cahawba Christian on Saturday. Jeremy Lee struck out 11 batters in six innings.

Chemar McGuire had two hits and Garrett Brech and Chambers McGilberry had one hit apiece.
Francis Marion 17, Keith 11 (Baseball)

Francis Marion defeated Keith 17-11 in baseball in what amounted to an area championship game in class 2A, area 5.

The Bears will play at New Brockton in the playoffs Friday.
Demopolis 10, Selma 2 (Baseball)

Selma lost its season finale Monday 10-2 to Demopolis at Bloch Park.  Juantavious Jones scored by stealing home and Nick Nettles hit Nick Parnell in.

Greensboro 9 (Softball)

Selma (3-2) defeated Greensboro 14-9 in softball at the Dallas County Sportsplex. Dajah Thrash was the winning pitcher for the Saints.

Paul Bryant 2 (Baseball)

Dallas County defeated Paul Bryant 12-2 in baseball Saturday. Caleb Lester scored three times and pitched 6.3 innings to lead the Hornets.
Glenwood 10,

Morgan 0 (Girls Soccer)

Morgan Academy’s soccer season ended Monday night against Glenwood in the first round of the Alabama Independent School Association playoffs. Glenwood has won the last four AISA titles.
