Mr. Joseph Gooden, 65, of Selma, passed away April 8, 2017, in Selma.

Services are scheduled for April 15, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Lilly Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Goodwin Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Goodwin Jr. He is survived by his spouse, Rosie M. Goodwin; parents, Andrew Gooden and Onnie Woods; daughters, Cassandra Goodwin, Angela Goodwin Tate and Kimberly Goodwin; two sisters, Annie Smiley and Dorothy Craig; 11 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
