Mr. Lozell Moorer, 68, of Selma, passed away March 26, 2017, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Services are scheduled for April 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. at New Mount Moriah with pastor O.F. Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in New Mount Moriah cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Easter Moorer. He is survived by his spouse, Debra; three sons, Jeremy and Tisha Moorer, Brandon Shannon and Robert Shannon; six daughters, Sandra and David Blevins, Kristy and Chris Hasberry, Tiffany and Tommy Smith, Maquita Shannon, Daritta Shannon and Asheley Shannon; four brothers, Walter Moorer, James and Laura Moorer, Curry Moorer, Earnest and Anita Moorer and Johnny Lee; seven sisters, Ruthie M. Moorer, Annie Moorer, Ethel Moorer, Elizabeth Moorer, Debra and Willie Allen, Betty Moorer and Shirley Sullivan; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aunt, Alice Stone; and uncle, Easton Langham.
