Dallas County (10-1) used a six-run second inning to top Greensboro 15-5 Thursday night in baseball.

Andre Smith and Caleb Lester each hit RBI singles in the second inning as Dallas County took control. The Hornets tacked on five more runs in the fourth — led by a singles by John Motley and Octavious Palmer. Dallas County batters were walked 14 times in the game.

The Hornets host Southside on Friday at 4 p.m.
