Mrs. Mary Smith entered this life on Nov. 23, 1950, and departed this world on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma.
Mary Smith will be laid to rest on Saturday Nov. 11, 2017, at Lord’s Tabernacle Church of Christ Holliness, 811 Minter Ave., Selma, Alabama, at noon by pastor Elder Frank Braxton.
Mrs. Mary Smith is preceded in death by her parents Samuel Tarver (father) and Rebecca Williams (mother); her siblings,  James Williams (brother), Geraldine Coleman (sister), Louise Avery (sister) and Samuel Tarver Jr. (brother).
Mrs. Mary Smith leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving husband Adolphus Smith Jr., sister, Deloris Dixon (Charles), brother; Anthony Tarver; children; Eric Milton (Tasha), Chris Milton (Sandy), Andre Milton, Freda Milton, Alicia Milton, Rebecca Milton and Reba Milton (MJ).
Mary also leaves to cherish a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-laws, sisters -in-laws and cousins as well as friends. Lewis Brothers Funeral Home will be conducting the service.
