Billie Ruth Stone, age 82, of Selma, passed away Feb. 20, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Buell Stone, who was a World War II veteran and owner of Stone Construction Co.; and her parents, Claude and Jewell Pillgreen.

Surviving are her children, Denice S. (Mike) Clark and Darra R. Stone; special friend and love, Gene Garrison, grandchildren, Michael David (Elizabeth “Dee” Griffin) Clark and April E. Clark; and a host of friends and members of Elkdale Baptist Church and First Baptist Church.

The family will hold a private service.
