Betty Sue Pitts, age 84, of Selma, passed away Feb. 20, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Pitts; parents, Robert and Viola Rhodes; sisters, Bernice Easterling and Olean Green; and brother, James Rhodes.

She is survived by her children, James Friday, Joe (Kristie) Friday, Mike (Debbie) Friday, Tim (Debra) Friday and Anita Middlebrooks; sister, Doris West; brothers-in-law, Allen Pitts, James Pitts, Floyd Pitts and Bryant Pitts; sister-in-law, Berry Bailey; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Erik West officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chris Friday, Brandon Giles, Mason Friday, Joey Friday, Jonathan Friday and Eric Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Humane Society of Central Alabama, P. O. Box 511, Selma, AL, 36702.
