Ms. Josephine R. Givan, 72, of Selma, passed away Feb. 1, 2017, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at New Moriah Baptist Church in Tyler with Pastor Octavius Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in New Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is survived by her sons, Lee E. (Sharon) Givan, Terry O. Givan, Willie Givan and Horace L. Givan; daughters, Linda J. Givan, Bertha D. Givan, Theresa (Bernard) Woods and Catrina (Bobby) Thomas; brothers, Thelophius Rose, Jimmy Rose and Cecil Rose; sisters, Geraldine (Alex) Perryman and Rosetta (James) Hall; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; dedicated nephew, Jeffery Rose.
