Marion Carl Colburn Jr., age 71, of Jones, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017.

He was born Feb. 25, 1946, to Marion Carl Colburn Sr. and Bessie Mae Hartley Colburn.

Mr. Colburn is preceded by his parents; brother, Thomas Brady Colburn; and sister, Bobbie Rae Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Dean Colburn; sons, Tracy (Tonya) Williams and Roy Walker; daughters, Teresa (S.B.) Pope, Regina (John) Williams, Annesia (Jason) Miller and Donna Colburn; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four sisters, Betty Ann Colburn, Irma Colburn, Bessie Joe Colburn and Joyce Ferraro.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Ivah Methodist Church in Hamburg with Bruce Carswell officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will serve as pallbearers.
