Mr. Steven White, 69, of Selma, passed away Jan. 24, 2016, in Selma.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at noon at Miller Funeral Service Chapel in Selma with the Rev. Sammy McDole officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by nine sons, Tyriq L. White, Jamie (Shataria) White, Steve White Jr., Steve Kennedy, George White, Louis Slade, Terry Merchant, Jerry Merchant and Nathaniel (Lucille) Merchant; six daughters, Dorothy K. White, Wallaphine “Fina” White, Dorthulia “Lady” White, Lafrance Fountain, Carolyn Johnson and Sharina White; brother, Freddie L. White; sisters, Willie A. White, Dorothy M. White, Mandy White, Ophelia (Ronald) Johnson, Patricia Hunter, Evelyn (James) Anderson, Judy (George) Robinson, Brenda (La’Bronn) Conner; 46 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and special lady, Renee Jackson.
