Raymond Butler announces his candidacy for Alabama State House of Representatives to represent District 67, which includes Dallas County and parts of Perry County.

“I will work to relieve the financial woes of the General Fund, adequate funding of Medicaid, new prisons, that will relieve the overcrowding and thus provide safety for the work force and inmates but at a lower cost than what the governor is talking about,” Butler said.

“I would like to sponsor a bill that compensates any innocent person wrongfully imprisoned by the state. It’s just the right thing to do.”
