Mrs. Bertha H. Callens, 77, of Selma, passed away Dec. 31, 2016, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for Jan. 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. at GTCOGIC-Selma with pastor John Grayson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memorial Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother.

She is survived by six sons, Alfred Callens, Gregory Callens, Demetrius Callens, Paul Callens, Lionel Callens, all of Selma; six daughters, Bessie  and Callens Curtis (the late Walter Sr.) of Selma, Allie (Samuel) Coleman of Selma, Dianna (Frank) Williams of Montgomery, Fran Callens and Brenda Callens; two sisters, Lula Hosea Foster of Mobile and Mary Hosea Martin of Selma; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; seven nieces; eight nephews; special daughter-in-law, Linda W. Callens; family friends, Donna Pittman and Schnavia Rawls; devoted niece, Zina Carter of Atlanta; and devoted sister-in-law, Nancy Hosea of Selma.
