Eugene Girlie, age 66, of Selma, passed away Dec. 23, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Susie Girlie; five brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are his son; Milton Girlie; daughter, Misty Bell; sisters; Doris Durden, May Fitts and Sadie Davis; and brother; McArthur Girlie; four grand children; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Henry McIntosh officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at the Girlie Family Cemetery in Pineapple.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
