Mr. Dan Jones, 86, of Selma, passed away Dec. 15, 2016, at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Dec. 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Selma with Pastor Steven Washington officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is preceded in death by his son, Dan Jones Jr. He is survived by his wife, Vera Holmes Jones; sons, Jerry (Brenda) Holmes, and Jimmy McIntyre; three daughters, Debra (Ed) Brooks, Brenda J. Perryman and Denise Olivia Jones; sister, Crecia Knight; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
