Bennie Lanier, age 77, a former resident of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, in Orange Park, Florida. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at 11 a.m. from Gospel Tabernacle COGIC Church, 1630 Lawrence St. Pastor Wilie Harris of Green St. Baptist Church, officiating. Family Hour will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel from 6-7 p.m. Interment will be held at Fairlawn Memory Gardens with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
