Ms. Claudia M. Hunter, 69, of Stone Mountain, Georgia and formerly of Sardis, passed away Aug. 17, 2016, in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 23, at noon at New Bride Baptist Church in Sardis with the Rev. F.D. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Glover Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by her son, Christopher G. (Nakia) Hunter, Sr.; daughters, Audrey D. Hunter, Joyce Cooper Davis; grandchildren, Asia Renee Hunter, Yasmine D. Hunter, Chyna R. Grant, Heiress C. Hunter, Christopher G. Hunter Jr., Marshall G. Grant; great-grandson, Tate G. Cooper; sisters, Catherine O. Robinson, Mary K. Robinson; brothers, Eddy (Charlie Mae) Robinson, Walter (Ida) Robinson; aunt, Pearline Jackson; sister-in-law, Carlean Hunter-Smiley; brothers-in-law, Sammie Hunter and Melvin (Jacqueline) Cousins; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.
