Sherie Smith Frazer, 60, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 11, 2016. Sherie was born May 15, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Oma Mullen Smith and the late John Smith. She is survived by her mother, Oma Smith of Palestine, Texas; husband, Dr. Joe Jackson Frazer Jr., her son, Joe Jackson Frazer III, both of Marion, and her sisters, Gaylynn Smith (Dale) of Hixson, Texas and Melanie Thomas (James) of Elkhart, Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug., 13 at 11 a.m. at Marion United Methodist Church in Marion with Dr. Harold Arnold officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Aaron Hyder, Cody Hyder, Brett Stiefel, Allen Stata, Dr. Lesley Sheek, and Andrea Abernathy.
