Mr. Willie C. Howard, 70, of Meridian and formerly of Selma, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Specialty Hospital in Mississippi.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove in Burnsville with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his spouse, Frankie Howard; sons, Nathaniel (Annette) Howard and Anthony D. Howard; daughters, Glenda F. Howard, Willie Mae Howard, Jacqueline (Tony) Howard and Jenetta (Terrie) Howard; sisters, Mary Howard, Annie Howard, Glenda (Kenneth) Smith, Lucy (Clinton) Duncan, Evelyn (Thomas) Murry, Jannie Henry and Linda Lee; three aunts; brother-in-law, Ottis (Yvonne) Martin Jr.; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
