Two Selma women, 19-year-old Jalysa Shanjetti Turner and 21-year-old Kenatta Shantae Wilson, were both indicted for hindering prosecution.

District Attorney Michael Jackson said all of the suspects will appear in Circuit Court for an arraignment on their charges within the next three months.

On July 12, Hall was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami.

“I knew he wasn’t going to be gone too long,” Jackson said in July. “It’s a relief for the public to know that the suspect killer is caught. It shows good coordination between the police and the [U.S.] Marshals and the Task Force and all these other agencies that are working together.”

Hall was wanted in connection to the murder of 27-year-old Jermaine Tarver, of Lowndesboro, nearly a month before his arrest.

Investigators speculate Tarver was playing cards outside a residence in the police jurisdiction of Townes Circle when Hall approached him about personal property. After Hall and Tarver exchanged some words, police believe Hall retrieved a firearm and shot Tarver multiple times in the torso area.

Dees allegedly opened fire on a second victim who was attempting to aide Tarver.

After the shooting, Dees was dropped off before Turner and Wilson allegedly transported Hall to Oklahoma and then to Florida, authorities said.

Tarver was transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center’s emergency room where he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

The second victim reported no injuries.

Turner and Wilson were both arrested once they returned to Selma and Dees was apprehended within the few days.
