Ms. Rillar C. Thigpen, 59, of Selma, passed away on July 11, 2016, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at Ellwood Community Church, in Selma, with the Rev. Nathaniel Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Old Ellwood Cemetery, in Tyler, with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by two sons, Kendrick Thigpen and Jarvis Thigpen; daughter, Kadeidre Thigpen; three grandchildren, Maya, Jay and Kileigh; brother, Otis (Debra) Thigpen; three sisters, Bernice Johnson, Linda Jones and Carolyn Sigler; sister-in-law, Maxcine Thigpen; 11 nieces; four nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
