Wow! How times flies! Thirty-two years ago I had the pleasure of meeting the dance instructor and owner of Margie’s Dance Studio now Studio 4, Mrs. Margie Burk. I got to know Mrs. Margie, Richard (Mr. Margie the name given to him by my youngest daughter at the age of 3) Candace and Kelly. I even got the opportunity to watch their daughters Candace and Kelly grow up finish college and get married. I met Candace and Kelly’s husbands and Kelly’s twins and watch them grow up to dance in recitals also. Marge and her family are exceptional godly people.

I applaud Margie work of endless hours doing something she loves to do and doing it alone for many years. However, as God blessed her talent and the studio grew larger others came in to help. Mrs. Margie has a wonderful way of pulling out the best”in each of her dancers. My daughter Talisa dance with Mrs. Margie for two years, my youngest daughter Tamira danced for 15 years, and my grand-daughter Brittney danced for 15 years. This year has brought us to the end of and era of dancing with Mrs. Margie. I have enjoyed each recital and was always intrigued by the themes of dazzling and sparkling excitement.

Thanks Mrs. Margie for the years have been well spent. May God’s blessings continue to be with those dancing feet that make wonderful dance recitals. See you next year.
