Beatrice Helen Horton, age 87, of Selma, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016.

She is preceded by her husband, C.W. Horton; parents, Lester and Gertrude Chandler; and siblings, Nelson Chandler, Vivian Martin, Maudine Carter and MacArthor Chandler.

Mrs. Horton is survived by her sisters, Edna Gray, Flora Spangenberg (George), Marie Michel (Bob) and Barbara Mull; brother in law, Charlie Horton (Mary), sister in law, Nell White, Catherine Horton; friend, Margie Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the chapel at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home on Friday, June 3 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Linda Tarver officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Forrest Butts, Hunter Butts, Josh Buxton, Duke Martin, Ronnie Mull and Allen Martin.

Honorary pallbearers are Mason Harris, Lowell Butts, Tony Butts, and nephews, Robert Gray and David Buxton.
