On Thursday night, 186 Selma High School graduates walked across the stage to receive their high school diplomas, marking the beginning of a number of high school graduations that will take place during the following week.
Earlier this month, Selma University, Wallace Community College Selma and Concordia College Alabama held each of their graduations. We want to congratulate all of the local high school and college graduates as they take the next step into college and their professional careers. It’s truly an incredible accomplishment to earn a diploma, and each graduate should be proud of their achievements.
There are many young adults in our community who have shown through their ability to excel in the classroom, as well as in many other areas, that Selma has a bright future ahead of it.
On Friday, Morgan Academy and Meadowview Christian School will hold their respective graduation ceremonies, and next week, Dallas County, Ellwood Christian, Keith and Southside will all have their graduations. Congratulations to the upcoming graduates. Remember to enjoy the moment because it only comes once in a lifetime.
