Leona S. Smiley, 84, of Selma, passed away May 1, 2016, in Dallas County. Services are scheduled for May 7 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church with pastor Michael Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by one son, Finley Smiley Jr. of Chicago; four daughters, Betty Williams, Deloris Smiley, Gloria Smiley, and Teresa Smiley; sister, Earlene Smith; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; five brothers-in-law; host of nieces and nephews; three stepsons, Kevin Holmes, James Smitherman, and Clarence Davis.
