Verne Richardson, age 92, of Gastonburg, passed away April 27, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Deborah Elyse Richardson and Karen Dale Richardson; brothers, Wade Richardson, Bernard Richardson, Woodrow Richardson and Dale Richardson; and sisters, Essie Remley, Zeola Busby, Gladys Ward, Myrtle Smith, Ann Caulk and Billye Gillis.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Richardson; daughter, Phyllis (Robert) McCullough; and grandchildren, Ashley (Morgan) Atchison and Ciera (Jonathon) Williams.

Mr. Richardson was a member and Past Master of St. Albans Masonic Lodge No. 22 in Linden.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
