Johnnie Elizabeth Fain Osburn, age 97, of Selma, passed away April 5, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin M. Osburn; parents, John and Evie O. Fain; daughter, Bernice Osburn; brothers, Robert Fain and Clifford Fain; and sisters, Clara Mosley, Mae Snyder and Gladys Smith.

She is survived by her sister, Eva Bailey; sons, Marvin W. (Charlie) Osburn Sr., Edwin Osburn and Tom (Donna) Osburn; grandchildren, Marvin W. (Mona) Osburn Jr., Allen (Bonnie) Osburn, Jylan Osburn, Laura C. (Bill) McCorkle. Natalie C. (Clyde) Blaylock, James Osburn and David Osburn; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Baptist Foundation of Alabama, Sarah Bernice Osburn Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 241227, Montgomery, AL 36124-1227.
