Ms. Alfreda C. Gholston, 52, of California and formerly of Dallas County, passed away March 21, 2016, in California. Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 2 at noon at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Sardis with the Rev. Byron Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Lillie B. Pressley; son, Bayomi Orando Yero (Kay) Gholston; daughter, Dainykia Gholston; four grandchildren, Jabari, Kameran, Amani and Bayon Gholston; brother, Preston L. (Kita) Parker; sisters, Dec. Yvonne (Ronnie) White, Wyleara J. Braxton, and Joselynn E. Pressley; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
