Clifford Pratt, 84, of Orrville, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, in Alabaster. Viewing will be held Monday, March 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. and services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 29 at 11 a.m. at Prosperity C.M.E. Burial will follow in Old Alabama National cemetery in Montevallo with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. He is preceded in death by his mother, Birta Hoskins Gloss; father the Rev. Thomas Pratt; and sister, Hattie Jennings; he is survived by his long time friend, Lillian Bradley; son, John Clemmon Smith of Cincinnatti, Ohio; daughter, Glenda Pratt-Vance of Florissant, Missouri; brothers, William Pratt of Atlanta and Walter Pratt of Austell, Georgia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
