Dorothy L. Martin, 80, of Selma, passed away March 21, 2016, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Perkins Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. Family hour will be Friday, March 25 from 6 – 7 p.m. at Lewis Brothers Chapel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Jones and Clarence Smith; husband, Ernest Martin; and son, Randall Martin. She is survived by sons, Michael Martin of Cleveland, Mississippi and Joseph Martin of Kansas City, Missouri; daughters, Cassandra Martin-Walters of Teaneck, New Jersey, Melvia Martin of Selma and Rosalind (Renay) Martin Winston of Marietta, Georgia; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one son-in-law.
